FAQ—Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. Our caregivers have a lot of experience providing post surgery home care to people in northern Kentucky and Cincinnati. We can be there at the hospital when your loved one is discharged to check their medical condition and make sure that everything is recorded in the paperwork at discharge. After that, we can help to transport them to their home and get them settled, ensuring that they have everything they need as they begin their recovery. We can provide help with meals, bathing, dressing, and getting them to their follow-up appointments as well as watch for warning signs in the event that they have any complications.
We are very concerned about our seniors in the NKY and Cincinnati area. To keep our clients safe, we have assigned each caregiver or team of caregivers to a particular client. Our employees have been trained in following all hygiene and sanitization protocols (as directed by the State of Kentucky). We are currently advising clients to stay at home except for necessary medical appointments. Our caregivers can help with picking up groceries and prescriptions for our clients.
No. Our services include non-medical care, but our caregivers are trained to watch for warning signs. Sue Henderson, our owner, is a former registered nurse with more than 30 years of experience. Sue has a great working relationship with the healthcare professionals in our area. She and her case managers can work with medical providers to coordinate nursing care for clients. Many of our caregivers are CNAs or CNAs in training. Concerning medications, we can provide medication reminders, but we do not dispense medication.
